Always Now

It is always Now.

And it is always Us.

Just Us. All alone.

Every conscious being lives in the same place.

That place is the single place of moral concern: Now.

Nowhere else does anything take place.

This place takes many shapes.

There are islands of hedonic peace.

But the biosphere is large, and filled with predation.

Somewhere, Now is being hunted.

Yet it is Us that does the hunting.

We lack the knowledge that we hunt ourselves.

May we wake from our ignorance, and civilise the Nowsphere.
